Software Architect
Role:
As a hands-on Software Architect in the Digital R&D Group, you will lead the design and delivery of new solutions. This includes solutions architecture definition, building solutions business flows, developing new components needed to enable new experiences, and solving technical problems as we package different apps/components together. You will need to get deeply acquainted with the platforms on which we deliver. To do that you will need to –
Own complete solutions across their entire cycle
Drive the overall architecture of solution and infrastructure within the team and across the organization.
Work closely across teams and disciplines to shape the solutions and make sure they provide value to our customers.
Drive solution implementation across multiple feature crews.
Work with the peer PMs to define solutions day to day execution.
Comply with project plans and industry standards.
Debug and investigate live-site issues to ensure proper availability of our solution.
Investigate and prototype new technologies and frameworks.
Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and customer-focus within the team.
Lead by example a high level of technical excellence (including but not limited to participating in the design, code, and test reviews).
Mentor more junior team members professionally.
Design scale-up DevOps architecture, processes, and methodologies.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with one or more frontend frameworks especially React.js. Experience with React, HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript / jQuery
Experience in Node.js design & development
Superb problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
Creative and innovative thinking.
Good communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
BS or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent 10+ years of development experience in relevant technologies
Hands-on experience with one or more frontend frameworks such as Vue.js. Experience with HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript / jQuery.
Experience with backend development – TypeScript, Express
Deep knowledge of ReactJS + ecosystem, practices, and commonly used modules.
Experience with microservices architecture, preferably in cloud environments
Knowledge and proven experience in continuous integrations and design of deployment (CI/CD), DevOps tools, and methodologies.
Proven track record of engineering large-scale, high availability, and consumer web applications
Exceptional software engineering skills across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Experience as a Software Architect/Principal Engineer or another cross-team technical lead/architect role
Ability to understand unfamiliar codebases, debug client, and service side applications.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks completely and independently.
Strong leadership skills.
Passion for mentoring junior engineers.
Ability to generate clarity in ambiguous situations.
Strong product design & development experience in an Agile development environment
Great team player, an innovator at heart with an excellent interpersonal skill who is passionate about technology, have a strong interest in the latest technologies
Fluent English, excellent communication skills
PMO Manager
The role of PMO Manager will lead the PMO Team to provide full lifecycle PMO capability, adhering to Industry Best Practice and Sapiens policies in support of current programs within the L&P division.
This will be a challenging and rewarding opportunity to execute the definition & maintenance of the programs and project management standards and processes- from initiating a project, to planning, executing, controlling, and closing a project.
Assist with advising managers and teams on the best use of programs and project management disciplines and approaches.
Support the successful delivery of programs undertaken through effective facilitation, tracking, and reporting.
Suitable candidates will have extensive experience (+4yrs) of working as a PMO Manager within an enterprise-scale environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Implement standard best practice policies/governance, templates, processes, and tools. Based on Managing Successful Programs (MSP), or any other equivalent certification.
Provide advice and guidance to drive adoption and adherence to agreed processes and standards.
Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, contributing to communities of practice.
Stakeholder Management: building strong, collaborative relationships at Delivery Managers and Program managers/directors’ level.
Create communications and stakeholder engagement plans. Provide key stakeholders with updates, insights, and decision support material.
Reporting: developing regular reports and responding to ad-hoc inquiries across all programs.
Planning: creating, enhancing, maintaining, and updating programs and project plans; including financial for budget and forecast.
Manage risks, issues, change requests, and dependencies across the program and projects.
Ensure that appropriate governance is in place and that quality assurance is conducted.
Optimize the use of division resources across the programs and projects.
Budget: maintaining and updating programs costs and provide budget reports (actual vs. budget/forecast).
Support projects health-checks, and post-project reviews.
Experience:
Extensive experience (+4yrs) of working as a PMO Manager within an enterprise-scale environment.
Excellent understanding of implementing Managing Successful Program (MSP), or any other equivalent certification.
Excellent English, strong written and communication skills.
Deep knowledge of Excel and all Office applications.
MS Project Knowledge – must, familiarity with EPM solution – advantage.
